The challenge
Build a working project that solves a real problem for students or small businesses in India. Some ideas to spark yours:
- A study planner that turns a syllabus into a daily schedule
- An attendance or fee tracker for a coaching centre
- A Hindi + English chatbot that answers questions about a college
- A tool that helps a local shop take orders on WhatsApp
- Anything that saves someone time every single week
Web, mobile, command-line or AI — any stack is welcome.
How it works
- Register a team (or go solo) before 27 Nov, 11:59 PM IST. Share your team's invite code with teammates.
- Build between 28 Nov, 10:00 AM and 29 Nov, 10:00 PM IST.
- Submit your public GitHub repository, a short description and — ideally — a live demo link or a 2-minute video.
Rules
- Teams of 1–4. Every member must have a Skills101 account and join the team.
- Start building after the start time. Open-source libraries, templates and AI tools are allowed — just mention what you used in your README.
- The repository must be public until results are announced.
- Be original and respectful. Plagiarised projects are disqualified.
Judging (100 points)

| Code quality and structure | 20 |
| Presentation — README, demo or video | 20 |
Prizes
- 🥇 Winner — Certificate of Achievement + 300 XP for every member
- 🥈 2nd place — Certificate + 200 XP
- 🥉 3rd place — Certificate + 150 XP
- Every team that submits — participation certificate + 50 XP for every member
